Invented in 1941 by the eccentric chemist Dr. Peter Schlumbohm, the Chemex coffee maker has featured in movies and museums all over the world. Its hourglass shaped flask is made entirely of a chemically inert material that does not absorb odours or chemical residues.

The 6 cup model is great for making up to 900ml of brewed coffee.
The wood collar is held on by a piece of tanned leather which can be easily removed for dishwasher use.
